National Revenue Minister Gail Shea today visited the St. Jacobs Fire Department in Woolwich Township to promote the new volunteer firefighter’s tax credit. When an eligible volunteer firefighter claims the credit on their tax return, they can reduce their tax bill by as much as $450.

National Revenue Minister Gail Shea today visited Visual Arts Mississauga to promote the new children's arts tax credit. The credit can save parents up to $75 at tax time when they claim the costs of artistic, cultural, recreational and developmental programs for their children.
